Crafty way to beat loneliness

A South Lincolnshire arts group is offering craft kits to help beat loneliness.

Transmission Arts are providing the kits as part of the Craft Catalyst Club to those who request them across South Holland.

A spokesman for the arts collective said: “If you know someone that is still staying at home, may be feeling isolated and may not have access to the internet then please let them know about the Craft Catalyst Club.

“They may be a relative or a friend that feels disconnected to the outside world but this arts project could help.

“The Craft Catalyst Club is a free craft club. It’s perfect for those who have always wanted to have an arts hobby but haven’t had access to equipment.

“Limited internet access? Not a problem! You can take part in this project completely offline.”

There’s also a phone number (07984 859575) for anyone who would like to participate in the projects who does not have access to the internet.
