A double from Matthew Cox plus goals from Juliano Resta and Giuliano Staffieri helped Crowland Town back to winning ways in the ChromaSport Peterborough and District League Premier Division.
They defeated Leverington Sports 4-2 on Saturday to move up the table and bounce back from last week’s defeat to Holbeach United Reserves.
The third placed Tigers lost ground on the top two after losing 3-0 at Oundle.
Bottom of the table Long Sutton Athletic were beaten 4-0 by Oakham United while their respective reserve sides met in Division Two, bottom of the table Oakham picking up their first win in the league 3-0.
In the same division, Holbeach United Sports put in a good performance at Glinton, winning 4-1 via goals from Corey Compton, Adam Day, Brandon England and Rob Shaw.
In Division Three, Tydd Reserves found themselves 4-0 down a home at half time, but improved in the second half eventually losing 6-3.
There was a high five for Pinchbeck United A in Division Five as they comfortably beat Leverington Sports A 5-1.
Pinchbeck United Reserves were ousted from the Lincs FA Junior Cup after losing 3-1 at home to Fulbeck United.
