Cowbit man in court over triple deaths

A 26-year-old-man from Cowbit has appeared in court charged with death by dangerous driving after an RTC that killed three people in Peterborough.

Tommy Whitmore of Stonegate appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates Court on Monday.

The charge relates to an RTC on Fletton Parkway on April 14.

He is due to appear before Peterborough Crown Court on May 20.

Sister and brother Jana Kockova, 21, and Tomas Kocko 19, both of Hinchcliffe in Peterborough – along with Jana’s fiancé Marko Makula, 22, of Reeves Way in Peterborough, all suffered fatal injuries in the incident.

The man was de-arrested last week before being re-arrested.
