A courageous 16-year-old had her head shaved for charity on Monday, in memory of her auntie.

Nikki Taylor, of Deeping St Nicholas, has so far raised more than £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support with the chop at Oasis Beauty Salon in Little London, Spalding.
And the teenager is donating her shaven hair to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who suffer hair loss through cancer treatment.

Nikki’s auntie Marie Taylor died from cancer at the age of 41.

Student Nikki said everyone had been “proud and supportive” of her headshave effort. Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/Nikki-Taylor8/
