Councillors plan to work together

An Independent and Conservative district councillor have announced they “plan to work together over the next four years”.

Spalding St Paul’s Ward councillors Rob Gibson (Independent) and Glynis Scalese (Conservative) said they have been looking into the possibility of working together “to help as many people as they can over the current term”.

Both councillors will hold an open surgery at the Moorings pub on October 26, between 10am and 2pm.

Coun Gibson said: “We would like to hear from as many people as possible, we would like the opportunity to help where we can.

“Our first priority has been to assist the St Paul’s school with the new fence and CCTV.“

The pair organised a fundraising hog roast and dance at the end of July which was held at Pinchbeck Village Hall.
