Council to put on car show

Holbeach is set to host a Classic and Modified Car Show on Saturday, July 18.
The event, being organised by the parish council, is taking place at Carter’s Park.
It’s hoped there will be over 50 vehicles there alongside activities and food and drink.
Anyone who would like to take part is asked to contact isobelhutchinson

A litter pick for councillors in the town was also recently held.
Coun Sophie Hutchinson said: “It went really well.
“We focused on two key areas that the public thought were especially bad for litter – Boston Road car park and St John’s Road car park.
“We collected four to five bags of rubbish that morning, and found some larger items of fly tipping which we will report to the district council. There were four councillors that took part, but we’ll probably look to organise another one for when more councillors are available.”
