Convoy system in place during A151 roadworks

Motorists have been warned that a convoy system will be in place during resurfacing works on the A151 this Sunday (August 11).

The A151 on Holbeach Road/High Road is intended to be surfaced dressed on Sunday.

Lincolnshire County Council said the work should take around six to eight hours to complete.

The exact timings will depend upon weather conditions.

A spokesman said: “To ensure the safety of the workforce, the works will be carried out under a convoy system. This means delays are likely and people are advised to use alternative routes where possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

“Please adhere to the recommended 20mph speed limit for the duration that the signs are placed out on the section of highway that has been dressed.”
