Contract to save Lincolnshire council £2million

VINCImouchel has been awarded the contract to supply property services for Lincolnshire County Council, delivering savings of more than £2m over five years.

The council’s Executive agreed to award the contract to the new joint-venture company set up between VINCI Facilities and Mouchel Ltd during its special meeting on Tuesday.

The contract is valued at £35-45 million over five years, and includes facilities management, energy management, support to corporate asset management, managed services, property records, valuations, traveller sites, capital project services and catering.

Coun Martin Hill, leader of Lincolnshire County Council, said: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to seal this deal, which will bring substantial savings over the next few years.

A transition period will see VINCImouchel start to mobilise the new service from later this year.
