Consti A open lead at top with a whitewash

Shane White (O50) hit breaks of 29, 25, 40 and 22 for Gosberton B but it proved in vain as his team fell 7-0 at Consti A in the Spalding and District League.

He was beaten 200-127 by John Bellerby (R70) and there were also wins for Neil Burton (R60), 200-192, and Stewart Davies (R50), 200-166, as their team moved four points clear at the top of the table.
Donington also enjoyed a whitewash, seeing off Holbeach B 7-0 to leap up to second place. They opened with a 200-192 win for Nigel Brasier (R70) and followed up with Tony Scully (R40) hitting a break of 23 in his 200-166 win and breaks of 27 and 20 by Ben Wrigglesworth (R20) in his 200-162 success.
Consti B travelled to Pyramid A and returned with the scalp of the last unbeaten record in the league, winning 4-3.
Jason Ross (R10) set things up with a 200-178 win and a thriller saw Mick Johnson (-156) record breaks of 25, 34 and 65 to see off Reegan Cooke-Holmes (R80) 200-198.
John Twell (R70) won the last game 200-158 for the hosts.
Mick Cooper (O200) was in stunning form for Holbeach A with breaks of 30×2, 29, 33, 20×2, 35 and 34 in his 200-140 win against Pyramid B.
That helped his team to a 5-2 victory after Maurice Phillipson (R70) had won the opener for the visitors (200-166).
Ben Harding (R30) hit a 20 break in the deciding 200-183 win against Darrell Read (R40), who had a 22 break.
