Companies have combined forces

GlenFarrow has added a new string to its bow thanks to combining with hydraulic hose business MB Supplies.

MB Supplies has been trading in Pinchbeck for around 25 years.
The company was founded by Mick Bird, who passed the baton to James Johanesen (pictured) 11 years ago.
James was looking to retire but also wanted a way of carrying on the business for his loyal customers.
A mutual friend between James and GlenFarrow Stores Manager Kevin Hargrave suggested the opportunity of MB Supplies moving to GlenFarrow last summer.
After a series of discussions, a ‘handshake deal’ was made in September 2021.
Combining the businesses has brought many benefits to customers.
GlenFarrow now offers a large range of hydraulic equipment and services including hydraulic hoses made while you wait. This is coupled with the extensive range of products already available in the showroom.
Also, both companies already shared some customers prior to the move so this meant that they could now purchase both product ranges in one place.
MB Supplies officially moved to GlenFarrow in December, where work had already begun to transform part of the stores and GlenFarrow trade counter into a hydraulic hose workshop.
James has joined GlenFarrow for the rest of the year, passing down his knowledge and expertise onto the team ready for when he leaves for retirement.
