Collision blocked A16 at Cowbit

The A16 at Cowbit was blocked yesterday (Sunday) following a two-vehicle collision.

Nobody was seriously injured in the incident that occurred shortly after 3pm.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway of the A16 at Cowbit at 3.10pm on May 14.

“An off duty officer was passing and stopped to provide assistance.

“No significant injuries were reported.

“Both vehicles were recovered by 5.25pm.”
