A rare insight in what it’s like to be a member of the coastguard is taking place next month.
Sutton Bridge Coastguard is hosting an open evening at its station in Fleet from 7.30pm to 9pm on Thursday, March 7.
A spokesman said: “If you’re interested in joining the team, or just want to find out more about what we do then come down.
“We are interested with people with good daytime availability during the course of the standard Monday to Friday working week and live or work close to the station.
“If you think someone you know would be a good fit to join one of the UK’s emergency services, and save lives up and down the coast let us know.”
The station is at Unit 14, Fleet Road Industrial Estate, Fleet, Holbeach PE12 8LY.
