Coach of the Year

Spalding Water Polo Club’s head coach Dave Lord has been announced as Swim England’s Coach of the Year.
Runner up was club member Amelia Stewart.
The winners were announced at a gala event last weekend at Loughborough University.
Assistant coach Mark Le Sage said: “This is an amazing achievement for the pair and the club, which reflects the commitment and dedication that surrounds the Spalding Water Polo team.
“It is yet another example of why we need to see a big investment in the size and swimming facilities in the local area when the Castle Sports complex is redeveloped.
“Spalding should stand out to allow our own stars of the future to shine brightly.”
