Club’s model event returns

It’s full steam ahead for Spalding Model Railway Club’s annual show this coming weekend.

One of the biggest in the country, the club will have over 30 displays on show at Springfields Exhibition Centre on Saturday and Sunday, November 1 and 2.

Displays will range from miniature recreations of real places to those created through imagination including one named Fen Marsh Depot and Market Deeping Railway Club’s Deeping Road MPD.

There will also be a host of demonstrations and societies on show as well as the usual vast array of traders.

On both days public entry is from 10am though advanced tickets and those with a disability or use a wheelchair can enter from 9.30am.

Advanced tickets are £11 or entry is £12 on the door.

No matter when you buy your ticket, it’s £1 entry for under 16s and free for those under five.

Tickets are from https://spaldingmodelrailwayclub.org.uk/advanced-tickets

There’s free parking on the grounds of the Exhibition Centre or the usual charges apply if parking at the Springfields Shopping Outlet.
