Club has focus on season

Spalding Photographic Society begins its new season on Wednesday, September 9, at 7.30pm at its usual venue, The Pavilion, Castle Bowls Club, Albion Street.

The opening evening will be an informal welcome back for existing members and an opportunity for anyone interested in photography to come along, meet the club and find out about the season ahead.

The Society meets weekly from September through to April, with guest speakers, member presentations, practical and technical sessions, competitions and projects all lined up.

A club spokesman said: “The first few weeks of the new season will include a look at the club’s summer challenges and the setting of new projects for the months ahead.

New members and visitors are very welcome, whatever their level of photographic experience, whether they want to develop their skills, find new inspiration or simply enjoy photography with like-minded people.”
