Christmas art on the cards

South Holland and the Deepings MP Sir John Hayes has unveiled his Christmas cards for this year.

Each year he asks local youngsters in his constituency to come up with designs.

Those deemed the best are then turned into the cards he sends out.

This year’s winners included Harry Cuffe (5), who attends Gosberton House Academy.

Sir John congratulated the winners alongside sponsors Robert Oldershaw of Oldershaw Moulton Ltd, and Springfields Designer Outlet and Leisure.

Other sponsors included Bridge Farm Group, Moore Thompson, PSP IT Design and Development, GBSG Ltd, Spalding Power Station and Philip Hall, of Turners.

Sir John said: “I so enjoyed looking at all of the entries.

“I was extremely delighted with all of the entries, which were at such a high standard that it was very hard to choose the very best. All the children who entered, their families and their schools deserve to feel very proud.”
