Choir raises charity cash

Andrew Clingo and his ladies at Spalding Handful of Harmonies certainly know how to raise funds for charity.

On this occasion a soup and bread roll lunch followed by apple pie and cream or custard followed by the normal choir singing session and concluding with tea and cakes raised £400 for Breast Cancer and the Wear it Pink Day.

This brings them a total of well over £1,000 for Breast Cancer Care, Comic Relief and Macmillan Cancer Support in just over two years of the choir being established in Spalding.

The Spalding choir meets at Bromley Memorial Hall, Pode Hole every Friday afternoon 1.30-30pm. No auditions just go along and join in!
