Children design MP’s cards

Young competition winners have been thanked for designing MP Sir John Hayes’ Christmas cards.

Sir John met the winners and presented the children with their printed Christmas Cards at Springfields Outlet Shopping Centre.
As he has for many years, Sir John organised a special competition to design his Christmas card, with children from Gosberton House Academy and Tulip Academy Waterside Campus entering.
Sir John said: “I was extremely delighted with all of the entries, which were at such a high standard that it was very hard to choose the very best.”
Sir John offers wholehearted thanks to all of the children that took part in his competition and congratulates the winners, who are Yan Dolny (11) and Edvardas Vysniauskas (12) from Tulip Academy Waterside Campus and Elijah Giullari (10) and Daanish Jackson (10) from Gosberton House Academy.
Those who have very kindly sponsored the competition are Springfields Outlet Shopping, Seagate Homes (UK) Ltd, Bridge Farm Group, Moore Thompson, PSP IT Design and Development, GBSG Ltd and Philip Hall of Turners.
Sir John said: “I so enjoyed looking at all of the entries.
“All the children who entered, their families and their schools deserve to feel very proud.”
