Cheers! Long Sutton residential home rolls out the barrel

An afternoon of beer, wine and song was enjoyed by residents and their families at The Bancroft in Long Sutton.

Supported by Adnams of Southwold, a real pub atmosphere was created with cask ales especially popular and a jukebox of music from the 40s to the 70s keeping all entertained.

Activity co-ordinator Steve Shore said: “It was lovely to see so many people having such a good time, joining in, singing cheerfully and really getting into the spirit.”

Anyone interested in providing a show, experience or activity at the home – and bring pleasure and joy to the residents – should contact Steve on 01406 362734.
