Charity comedy night at centre

A host of top comedy talent is set to raise laughs and money at the South Holland Centre this Saturday (August 24).

Zeph Churchill is hosting the evening on behalf of South Holland District Council chair Andrew Woolf, who is raising money for Blood Cancer UK and Mencap in his two years in office.
Joining Zeph, who is currently touring her show ‘Is it me, or is it hot in here?’ will be Jason Simmons, Michael Salvadori and some special guest appearances.
A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “Zeph is absolutely delighted to return as compere for the Chairman’s Charity Show. Brace yourselves for an evening of laughter and unexpected twists… and with her knack for sharing outrageously naughty stories from A&E, Zeph will definitely give you a night of unexpected hilarity; reminding us that laughter might well be the ‘best’ medicine after all!
“Michael Salvadori is destined for the bright lights of mediocrity but attempts to make sense of his life and the world.
“Join him for a hilarious glimpse inside the mind of a man who ponders the meaning of his existence.”
Tickets are available from www.southhollandcentre.co.uk for £15 or £12 concessions.
Groups of ten or more can book for £10 per ticket.
