Charity cheque for CLIC Sargent

A charity that supports children with cancer is £6,800 better off thanks to Sutton Bridge firm Wingland Foods.

Members of the Wingland SEF presented a cheque to their chosen employee charity for 2014 – CLIC Sargent.

Nightshift site manager Gary Tuttle said: “After all of the year’s various fundraising events across the site and kind donations from our employees we managed to raise £6,800.

“Events included selling hot dogs, raffles, a hog roast and another successful Wingland Golf Day.”
