Charity a fairway to new bath

Spalding golfers have clubbed together to help make a splash for a town charity.

The Meadows Day Centre has been gifted £3,100 by the Spalding Golf Club’s senior section.
Throughout the past year members have been raising money for the charity which provides day care in the town.
It’s going to use the money to get a new bath.
“We’re really looking forward to this as our bath has been out of action for so long,” said Maisie Wenham of The Meadows’ management team. “A big thank-you goes to everyone who has donated.
“Specific thanks go to to Monty Brittain and Trevor Thorley (the 2024 seniors captain and 2025 club captains) for their support, but also a huge thank you to Tim Bains who has chosen to support us next year as well as the senior’s 2025 captain.
“We have formed such a fantastic relationship with Spalding Golf Club and really do feel as though they value what we do and how their money goes straight back to the local community.”
