Championship success

Martial artists from Spalding, Holbeach and Long Sutton have been competing in the TAGB (Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britiain) Midlands Championships 2024
The event was held at Kettering Sports Village and 15 fighting areas ran throughout the day with over 800 entries.
The Mark Farnham Schools provided 62 competitors, and well over 60 spectators who all travelled over on the day.
These students took part in Pattern, Sparring, Team Sparring, power pad events and also for the Black Belts Destruction.
The schools landed a massive total of 40 awards at the championships including ten first place Midland Champions.
A spokesman said: “A very well done to all those students who picked up medals, and to those students which were not awarded, keep working towards your goal.
“The Mark Farnham Schools now look forward to more competitions in the next few months, including the English Championships in March.”
