Champion show from Bourne

Champions-elect Bourne SC moved 19 points clear at the top of the Spalding & District Billiards League with a 7-0 win against Gosberton.
They complete their campaign at a Donington team aiming to finish second next week.
Elliot Gaunt (R40) got them off to a perfect start with a 200-144 win against Shane White (O40) with Kieran Richards-Witham (R50) and Lester Gaunt (O10) following suit to complete a 600-477 advantage.
Second-placed Consti A dropped points in a 5-2 win at Pyramid A after Reegan Cooke-Holmes (R80) won the first frame for the hosts.
Normal service was swiftly resumed with wins for Stewart Davies (R50) and Alan Hansard (R70).
Mick Johnson (-150)starred for Consti B as they climbed two places with a 7-0 success against Pyramid B. His win included an unfinished break of 77 and others of 37, 36, 26, 22 and two of 21. Jason Rose (scr) and Steve Spencer (R110) were the other winners.
The Holbeach derby went emphatically in favour of the B team, who opened an eight-point lead over their A team with a 7-0 win.
Denis Hix (R70) got things rolling with a 200-118 victory and he was followed by Chris Chamberlain (R40) and Neil Harvey (R50). Mick Cooper (O200) battled well for the ‘visitors’ with breaks of 45, 40, 29, 26, 25 and 23.
Gosberton A opened a gap at the foot of the table with a surprise 5-2 defeat of Donington.
