Chairman opens show homes

The chairman of South Holland District Council has officially opened a new housing estate.

Saddler Fields in Gosberton had its official opening last week with Coun Jan Whitbourn cutting the ribbon on the show homes.

She was joined by Coun Elizabeth Sneath at the 92-home development off York Gardens.

Coun Whitbourn said: “It was an honour to be invited to the official opening of Gleeson’s latest development in Gosberton.

“It’s been a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the business and the contributions being made to the local area.

“I was particularly impressed by the affordability of the homes and the schemes available to enable local first-time buyers to take their first steps onto the property ladder. I look forward to seeing how the development progresses.”

Alastair Hart, sales director at Gleeson Homes, added: “We’re incredibly proud to officially open the show home and sales centre at Saddler Fields – our first development in Gosberton.

“This is an important milestone as the site continues to take shape and deliver high-quality new homes for the community.

“We’re passionate about making home ownership affordable for everyone, and we’re already seeing strong local interest from both first-time buyers and those looking to take their next step.

“I’d like to personally thank everyone who has been involved with this development, and to Couns Whitbourn and Sneath for being part of our official opening. It’s fantastic to see the positive contribution Saddler Fields is already making locally, and we look forward to welcoming more residents in the months ahead.”
