Chainsaws and grinders among items taken in burglary

Lincolnshire Police have appealed for more information with regards a car involved in a burglary in Pinchbeck in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 27).

Three thieves broke into Chislett Hire on the Enterprise Way Business Park and stole hardware such as chainsaws, grinders and strimmers between 2am and 2.30am.

They left the scene in an estate car, believed to be an Audi.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a burglary between 2am and 2.30am on Sunday 28th July at Chislett Hire, in the Enterprise Way Business Park in Spalding.

“The estate car shown (believed to be an Audi) pulled up on the wrong side of the road.

“Three men then got out and used an handheld machine to cut open the shutters and bars of a side window to the shop. Items stolen include strimmers, chainsaws and grinders.

“They then left the scene in the vehicle heading towards Spalding Road.

“Multiple vehicles drove past this vehicle while the offence was being committed.

“If you witnessed this activity or think you may have, or have information that could assist our investigation, please contact us.”
