Celebrating 60 years of flowers

One of the oldest established clubs in the area has celebrated its diamond anniversary.

Spalding District Flower Club marked its anniversary last year, but because of Covid had to wait until now to celebrate.

Members enjoyed a three-course lunch at the Woodlands Hotel.

The event was organised by the present committee and 38 members were treated to prosecco and lunch.

After the meal members enjoyed a flower arranging demonstration and talk by Nick Grounds.

Special guests were Sue Brinton (area president) and Gill Shanks (King’s Lynn group chairman).

The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Moulton Community Centre at 7.15pm.
