Celebrate the summer solstice at pub music festival

Whatever your musical taste, there is bound to be something to suit at the Rainbow Summer Solstice Festival this Saturday.
To mark the longest day of the year, The Five Bells in Tydd St Mary is hosting a huge summer party.
The fun starts at 11am with the first band, Rocket from Eden, kicking off the day’s music from 11.30am.
They describe what they do as “funky songs about life, love and stuff”.
The day progresses to the soundtrack provided by Nigel Westmoreland, an acoustic and Spanish guitarist, Mickey Flynn, a mix of blues, rock and classics from the 20s to today, folk singer Brodgar (pictured), singer/songwriter Ria Woods Music, Spalding Folk Club and local musician Graham Hawkes.
Guests will also be able to browse more than 50 arts and craft stalls and try their luck in a raffle – with the top prize of a 48in flatscreen Smart TV, worth more than £500, donated by Bakkavor Staff Shop.
Other prizes include a £50 donation from C Carters of Wisbech and lots of vouchers.
The range of stalls inclde jewellery, textiles, magical and mystery crafts, natural skincare, tarot, crystals, wood turning, soaps and candles – to name a few.
There will also be fairground attractions, face painting and refreshments, including barbecue and vegetarian options, ice cream and a licensed bar.
