CCTV image released following incidents of fraud in Spalding

Lincolnshire Police have released images of a woman in connection with three incidents of using a credit card they have found in a car park.

After someone had left their bank card in a parking machine at Springfields Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 2, someone picked it up and used it at a petrol station and Baytree Garden Centre.

Today (Wednesday, January 17) police release the CCTV stills of a lady they would like to speak to in connection to the fraud.

A spokesman said: “We believe the woman in the picture can help with our enquiries into three crimes of fraud by false representation.

“On Saturday 2 December a bank card was used to pay for parking using one of the payment machines at Springfield shopping centre, Spalding. The owner unfortunately left the bank card in the parking machine which is situated at the garden centre.  The card was subsequently taken by someone and used fraudulently once at the Co-op petrol station and two times at the Baytree Garden Centre.

“The woman in the image may have information that can help our investigation.”

Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to call 101 quoting Niche 531154.
