Holbeach United suffered their fourth ChromaSport UCL Premier Division defeat on the spin on Tuesday night as Wisbech Town edged them out 2-1.
Goals from Stuart Cobb (11) and Danny Beaumont (32) put hosts Wisbech 2-0 to the good, but Oli Donald’s first Holbeach goal made it 2-1 soon after.
Andrew Tidswell rattled the bar with a trademark free kick on the hour, but the Tigers were unable to find a leveller despite bossing most of the second period.
To make matters worse, key defender Stacy Cartwright was sent off in the 90th minute.
Holbeach remain sixth in the table as a result.
