Care home’s Great Gatsby themed party

A Great Gatsby-themed party took residents at a Spalding care home back to the roaring 20s last week.

Fenchurch House celebrated its second birthday in extravagant style.

A spokesman said: “Residents and staff were all involved in the preparations, including making balloon arches, crafting fantastic Gatsby themed head bands, decorated in their preferred colours, a raffle and much more.

“Staff dressed up in outfits from the 1920s adding to the atmosphere.

“The room was filled with music, laughter and singing and everyone at the home was overwhelmed by the support of family and friends, with this just being the beginning for Fenchurch House Care Home.”
