Care home’s emotional parade

A Gosberton care home organised an emotional ‘drive-past’ for residents to say hello to the loved ones who are not currently allowed to visit.

Bank House Residential Home organised the convoy of cars to drive past the Gosberton Bank home.

Staff also videoed it and put it online which has received over 10,000 views.

It allowed the likes of Claire Booth to see her 94-year-old nan Eileen Booth.

Claire said: “The people there are truly amazing, loving and caring.”

Staff posted on Facebook: “It’s one of the most emotional things we’ve ever witnessed.

“There was lots of laughter and happy tears from nearly everyone.”
