Lincolnshire Police say they were called to the property on Monday May 6 after a tip off from a member of the public.

Around 70 plants were found and have been destroyed.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We received a report from a member of the public that it was suspected that cannabis was being grown in a property in Halmer Gate, Spalding on May 6.

“Officers attended that day and searched the property, finding a cannabis grow across several floors amounting to around 70 plants.

“The property was made safe and crime scene investigators attended for examination.

“The cannabis plants were seized for destruction and growing equipment was destroyed.”

It’s not currently clear if anyone has been arrested in connection with the cannabis grow.
