Businesses offered council training to boost Food Hygiene Rating

Businesses in South Holland can boost their Food Hygiene Ratings by taking part in special training workshops run by the district council.

The sessions are specifically tailored for businesses and aimed at supporting owners and staff. Participants will get a certificate and clear action plan of the steps they need to take to improve their rating as well as advice on how to apply for a re-rating.

The sessions are being held at the council’s offices in Priory Road, Spalding, on an ad-hoc basis to suit businesses. They will run for around two hours and cost £25 each, subject to a minimum of four.

If businesses have an interpreter then the sessions can be offered in various languages.

The workshops coincide with ongoing work by the council’s Food Safety Team to help businesses across the district improve their ratings. For more information about training workshops or to book places email foodhs@sholland.gov.uk
