Burst main leaves hundreds of South Holland homes and businesses without water supply

Hundreds of homes and business in parts of South Holland have been left either without water or with low water pressure  today (October 16).

The problems, which are believed to be mainly affecting Pinchbeck, Surfleet and Gosberton, but also parts of Spalding town centre, are down to a burst water main.

Many customers have been informed by recorded phone message by Anglia Water, which has said engineers are working hard to solve the issue.

The message states that it is hoped affected properties will see their water supply return to normal by 6pm.

Further announcements are expected later this afternoon and more information is available from www.anglianwater.co.uk/interruptions
