The Easter Bunny and a giant dinosaur from Woodhead Brothers in Spalding made a surprise visit to the children’s ward at Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital.
The Morrison’s owned abattoir and the company’s commercial arm Myton Food Group, also based in Spalding, helped provide eggs to give out on Easter Sunday in that ward and to children in A&E.
Woodhead Brothers’ community champion Tina Ellis said: “Children were delighted with their visitors who handed out Easter eggs along with roars and hugs.

“That’s not forgetting the hard working nurses who all received chocolate treats.
“Parents were also included and were just as surprised as their children, with some really getting into the Easter mood.
“We here at Myton Food Group are delighted and highly committed to supporting our local community, when and wherever we can.
“Staff are proud of the hard work and commitment that they give when volunteering on community projects and charities.
“We would like to thank the hardworking staff at the Pilgrim Hospital for all that they do and are happy that we could bring some Easter cheer to the children’s ward.”

Rhona Docherty-Allan and Krzysztof Jarkiewicz were among the Morrison’s staff in attendance.
