Builder cleans up after leaving site in state over Christmas

A developer has been criticised for littering around its site.

Stinders Homes are currently building The Meadows in Quadring.
But residents had been left concerned at the state of the site over Christmas.
One resident Stuart Bensberg sent in these pictures (right): “It’s been like this for a month.
“It’s totally unacceptable pollution of a beauty spot and public right of way.”
Stuart said that as of Monday the site had been 80 per cent cleaned up by the company.
Paul Coleman, head of construction at Stinders Homes, said: “We treat any issues raised by the local community very seriously, and The Meadows site manager has been in open dialogue with residents.
“We will investigate the specific claims made by neighbouring residents immediately.
“Stinders Homes remains committed to delivering quality, much needed housing for the local community.”
