Four members of 1st Pinchbeck Brownies have struck gold.
Amelia Todd, Emily Woods, Anastasia Pieleanu and Lani Tidswell all achieved their gold awards this term.
They had to remake their promise, find out about Guides and three of the girls presented a play to the other Brownies showing their adventures and best parts of their Brownie journey.
One decided to do a camp song book for the unit instead.
Anastasia went above and beyond and created a PowerPoint presentation about her time at Brownies, which leader Amy Coleman said had never been done before, and was exceptional.
“They had to put in over two years of time and commitment to this wonderful work,” she said. “Anastasia managed to complete all 18 interest badges from the programme and was presented with a special certificate.
“I know the girls have worked so hard to achieve this incredible award and were so happy to gain the highest award in Brownies.
“I am so proud of everything they have achieved and have loved seeing the change in them from when they first joined the unit as quiet and shy girls to the wonderful young ladies they are now.
“All of the girls will be moving up to Guides in September to continue their guiding journey and I wish them well.”
