Britain’s Got Talent Sheriff is back in Gedney

The Sheriff is back in Gedney this weekend fresh from appearing on Britain’s Got Talent.

Dave Sheriff returns for the latest country afternoon at the Victory Hall on Sunday (May 25).

A regular at the events, earlier this year the 77-year-old from Telford was shown wowing the judges on Britain’s Got Talent.

He appeared at the Blackpool audition and got a standing ovation from most of the crowd and Amanda Holden for the song he wrote ‘Blackpool By The Sea’.

She described it as ‘good old fashioned entertainment’ and along with fellow judges Simon Cowell, KSI and Alesha Dixon, all said ‘yes’ to him going forward.

Joining Dave at the gig that takes place at 2.30pm is Millwood Country Duo.

The pair of Gary and Ashli Wain are also regulars on the country scene hailing from Blackpool.

Gary’s song Coming My Way is currently nominated for the Song of the Year at the UK Country Music Awards.
Doors for the show open at 1.30pm.

Tickets are £10 and can be booked in advance by ringing Mary on 01406 362782 or on 07486 356307.
