Breakers plan moves on

A planning application to transform the yard of a former pub into a breakers’ yard has gone to Lincolnshire County Council.

The plans for the Gosberton Clough site were first submitted to South Holland in December last year but have been sent to the county because of the waste disposal involved.
The application also includes aerial pictures which shows cars already on the site. It is part of a larger plot used by the Old Ship Inn pub.
“The site is currently a vacant brownfield site consisting of a redundant courier/transportation business with garage facilities,” says a supporting document.
The application will be decided using delegated powers of a council officer rather than go before a committee.
