Brand caps great year with a win

The final ten-mile time trial of the season for Spalding Cycling Club took place on the classic Pode Hole course.
A strong turnout of 16 riders saw a familiar looking results table with Dominic Brand capping off a great season with another win in a time of 21 minutes 47 seconds.
Frazer Wallis was just 11 seconds back and William Horspool, of Wisbech Wheelers, rounded out the podium.
The battle for sixth to eighth was covered by only 27 seconds with Jacob Booth leading home his dad Mark and Dan Warner.
Evgeniya Brand completed her triumphant season with another ladies’ win with a time of 25:30. Samantha Briffett was second, 28:18.
