Boy is seriously injured in bus accident

A young boy has suffered serious injuries after being involved in an accident with a double decker bus.

The collision happened just before 3.25pm on Halmer Gate in Spalding.  The boy has received injuries described as serious.  It’s believed the Air Ambulance attended the scene.

Spalding Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision or anyone who has dashcam or video footage that may help with our investigation to get in touch.

The road is closed between Low Road roundabout and the junction with Stonegate.
