Bourne withdraws from league

The team at the top of the Spalding and District Billiards League have withdrawn.

Bourne SC, who were leading the division, have said they can no longer muster a weekly team.
Of the three matches played on Monday night, two resulted in a 7-0 whitewash.
Pyramid A, who are now top of the table, beat Donington, thanks to wins from John Clapton (r100), Reegan Cooke-Holmes (r80) and John Twell (r70).
A 50 break from Mick Johnson (o150) wasn’t enough to stop Consti B going down 7-0 to Holbeach B. Holbeach’s winners were Denis Hix (r60), Andy Spearman (r80) and Neil Harvey (r50).
The final match of the evening saw Pyramid B beat Consti A 5-2.
Phil Cooke (r100) and Darrell Read (r20) got the points for Pyramid, while John Bellerby (r90) won for Consti.
