Bourne take the top spot three weeks into the season

Bourne SC A have moved into the top spot in Division One of the Spalding and District Snooker League.

They beat Holbeach B 4-2 to move up from second place.
Wins came from Ian Clare (scr), Carl Gibson (O28) and Oliver Player (O35) who took the decider against Ian Woodberry (O7).
Consti E have taken second place thanks to a 4-2 win over Pyramid C.
Winners for Consti were James Kingston (O21), Neil Grant (scr) and Martin Ulyatt (O14).
Donington C went down 4-2 to Services C, causing them to fall from first place in the standings to third.
Now in fifth place, Services C’s winners were Geoff Hempsall (R21), Jordan Philpott (R7) and Mark Spiller (O7), while Neil Reynolds (O63) and Shaun Pickering (R14) got the points for Donington.
A 5-1 victory for Services A has seen them jump from eighth to fourth.
They beat Pyramid D thanks to wins from Phil Spencer (O7), Jake Haslam (O21), Martin Spencer (O28) and Jack Howard (scr).
Holbeach C had a free week which means they fall to sixth.
Down at the bottom of the table Holbeach D are propping up the rest of the division.
They lost 4-2 to Consti G, whose winners were Ady Sibley (O35), Martin Deacon (O14) and Darren Woodberry (O35).
In Division Two, Services B have won three of three to sit at the top of the standings.
They beat Holbeach E 4-2 and are currently three points clear of second-placed Gosberton A.
Holbeach started well with Chris Leary (O14) getting the better of Jason Rose (O28).
Paul Doades (O7) then took the second frame for Services, before Richard Parkes (scr) put Holbeach back in front.
Alan Hansard (scr) levelled the scoreline, taking the match to a decider between Jeff Collins (R14) and Josh Stretton (R7), with Collins coming out on top.
Gosberton A moved into second place, after a 4-2 victory over Consti F, who drop from second to fifth.
Jamie Mumby (O21), Geoff Wand (R14) and Alan Jackson (scr) got the points for Gosberton.
Holbeach A moved up from fifth to third, thanks to a 4-2 win over Services D.
Steve Dent (O7) and Pete Ransom (O28) got Holbeach off to a good start with wins over Paul Spicer (O14) and Alan Day (R14) respectively.
Ian Smith (scr) then took one back for Services before Stuart Atkin (O42) won the frame and the points for Holbeach, beating Kevin Robbs (R7). Russ Morse (scr) got a consolation point for Services in the final frame, getting the better of Mat Smith (O35).
Boundary A moved up from ninth place to fourth after a 5-1 win at home to Consti B.
Consti got off to a good start thanks to a win from John Christian (scr), before Boundary hit back with victories for Andy Mowforth (O7), Elliott Cox (R14), Tim Burrows (R14) and Daniel Smith (O14).
Whittlesey C climbed from 11th place to sixth, thanks to a 5-1 success at home to Consti I.
Neil Burton (O14) and Simon Parker (O7) both snatched victory on the black, while the other two wins came from Paul Cook (O21), who knocked in a 24 break, and Jason Bloomfield (O21).
David Twelves (O7) was Consti’s only winner, pipping Garry Thewliss (scr) by a single point.
Newly-promoted Holbeach F lost their first match of the season, going down 4-2 to Donington A.
Ben Harding (O42) started well for Holbeach, beating John George (O7) and claiming a 44 break on the way.
Jim Thompson (O7) levelled the scores with a win over David Lefley (R14), before Susan Lefley (R21) gave Holbeach the lead again.
But it wasn’t to be, as Nigel Brasier (O21) and Tony Scully (O35) took the final two frames and the points.
In Division Three, Donington B are clinging onto the top spot by one point, despite suffering a 4-2 loss away to Gosberton C.
Stuart Henderson (O7), Mark Payne (O14) and James Elliott (O14) were the winners for Gosberton.
A 4-2 win for Gosberton D saw them move up from third to second.
Neil Simmons (scr), Dan Hanger (scr) and Keith Lungley (O14) got the points for Gosberton.
Whittlesey A moved up from sixth to third after a 5-1 win away to Donington D.
Jason Clarke (O7), Graeme Sawyer (O14), Steve Jennings (O35) and Malc Bruce (scr) were the victors for Whittlesey, with Marcus Reynolds (R7) taking the single point for Donington.
Pyramid B had a good 5-1 win over Gosberton B.
Gosberton started well with a win from Merv Pattinson (R21), but it was downhill from there as Gary Cooke (scr), Dennis Pearson (scr), Darren Hibbins (scr) and Richard Clark (scr) took the next four respectively.
Boundary B beat Whittlesey B 4-2.
Paul Spittlehouse (O49) got the better of Pawel Skutela (R7), knocking in a 44 break along the way, while other wins came from Steve Smith (R14) and Mick Goddard (scr).
