With two weeks left to play, Boundary A have been crowned Division Two champions in the Spalding and District Snooker League.
They beat Holbeach E 4-2 on Thursday night, meaning they can’t be caught, despite only having one match left to play this season.
Winners on the night were Daniel Smith (o21), Elliott Cox (r7) and Tim Burrows (r7).
Second-placed Gosberton A didn’t have a game, while third-placed Services D won 5-1 at Donington A.
Their wins came courtesy of Joely Shears (r14), Paul Spicer (o21), Richard Neal (r21) and Russ Morse (o7).
Nigel Brasier (o28) got the single point for Donington.
Down at the bottom of the table, Holbeach F kept their hopes of avoiding relegation alive with a 4-2 win over last-placed Consti I.
Stuart Sullivan (o28), Susan Lefley (r21) and Alex Bourne (o21) were the victors.
In another battle to stay in the division, Consti B got the better of Pyramid E 4-2, thanks to wins from Martin Fear (o7), Mick Johnson (o21) and John Keeton (o7).
Stuart Atkin (o42) helped Holbeach A to a 5-1 win over Consti F, with breaks of 40 and 23 in his victory over Bryan Turnell (r14).
Holbeach’s other winners were Steve Dent (scr), Sean Swinburn (o63) and Mat Smith (o28).
Swinburn knocked in a 32 break during his win over Robert Adams (o14).
Whittlesey C got the better of Services B, beating them 4-2.
Wins came from John Willis (r7) (twice) and Gary Thewliss (scr).
Up in Division One, it’s close at the summit with just two points separating the top two teams.
Services C are leading the way, with 85 points, however they lost some ground, being beaten 4-2 by Consti H.
Doug Garfoot (o28), Jon Houldershaw (r14) and Olly Turner (o7) were the winners for Consti.
Meanwhile chasers Consti E got a 5-1 win at home to Pyramid D. They also have a game in hand over Services.
Their points came courtesy of Jack Chilvers (o21), Simon Law (scr), James Kingston (o28) and Martin Ulyatt (o21).
Josh Agger (o21) got the solitary point for Pyramid.
Pyramid C are still in third place despite losing to local rivals Bourne SC 4-2.
Pete Hodgson-Kerry (o28) put Bourne ahead, before Dave Pearson (o14) hit back for Pyramid.
Mark Gray (o98) got Bourne back in the lead again, before Oliver Player (o28) sealed the win for Bourne. Spencer Dawkins (o56) took the final frame for Pyramid.
Last season’s champions Donington C are sitting in fourth place.
They beat Holbeach C at home, thanks to wins from Mick Pearl (o21), Ben Wrigglesworth (o35) and Matt Turner (o28).
At the other end of the table, there was a battle to avoid relegation, as Holbeach B got the better of Pyramid A, beating them 4-2.
Holbeach’s winners were Barry Haynes (o7), Pete Mullane (o28) and Charlie Mullane (r28).
Consti G won 5-1 at home to Services A.
Joe Garland (scr) and Martin Deacon (o14) got Consti off to a winning start, before Chris Dunmore (o42) pulled one back for Services.
It wasn’t enough though, as Darren Woodberry (o35) and Ady Sibley (o35) took the final two frames.
There’s still all to play for in Division Three, as the top two teams are level on points.
Pyramid B are placed top but only because they have a game in hand over second-placed Whittlesey A.
Pyramid earned a very convincing 5-1 win over third-placed Gosberton D on Thursday night.
Phil Cooke (r7), Carl Kelham (r7), Darren Hibbins (o7) and Roy Jackson (r14) won the first four frames, before James Parrott (r7) pulled one back for Gosberton.
Whittlesey A whitewashed Consti C, beating them 6-0.
Winners on the night were Lance Clarke (r14), Jason Clarke (o14), Andy Blythe (o7), Graeme Sawyer (o14) and Malc Bruce (o7).
Donington B are still in fourth place, following a 4-2 win over Whittlesey B.
Whittlesey started well, thanks to Michael Foster (o14), before Phil Burrell (r7) won on the black to level the scoreline.
Mick Clark (r14) took the third frame for Donington, but Kay Skutela (r28) beat Darren Templeman (o7) to make it 2-2.
It was down to Pawel Skutela (r7) and Gav Lewis (o7) to battle it out in the final frame, with Lewis taking the spoils.
The two Consti teams, who are propping up the rest of the division, both lost.
Consti A went down 4-2 away at Gosberton B.
Nigel Goodwin (r21), Mark Howlett (scr) and Merv Pattison (r14) were the winners for Gosberton.
Consti J lost 5-1 away to Boundary B.
Mick Walker (o28) won the first frame for Boundary before Les Andrew (scr) equalised for Consti. It was downhill for them from there though, as Paul Spittlehouse (o56), Rich Wilson (o7) and Dougy Lythgoe (o14) all won for Boundary.
Consti D beat Donington D 6-0 thanks to wins from Steve Moore (r21), Ray Digby (r28), Martin Perkins (o21), Geoff Ellingworth (r14) and John Cooper (r21).
