Boston dates for cup finals

The venue has been confirmed for Lincolnshire County FA cup finals involving two local teams.

Moulton Harrox will take on Skegness Town Reserves at Boston United’s Jakemans Community Stadium on Friday, March 27, 7.45pm in the Junior Cup.

The National League club’s ground will also host Spalding United, for their Women’s Cup final against Lincoln United on Friday, May 1, 7.45pm.

  • Freddie Parker earned the man of the match honours as Moulton Harrox left it late to pick up all three Peterborough League points on Saturday. Nathan Smith, Luke Fox and Declan Earth got the goals in a 3-2 win at FC Peterborough Reserves.

Crowland Town stayed on the title trail with a 5-0 win at Leverington Sports but at the opposite end, Whaplode Drove Rovers fell 5-3 at Eye Rangers. Stan Skowronski, Snor Islam and Danny Firth were on target as they chalked up a second consecutive fruitless three-goal haul.

Crowland take on Peterborough International Sports in the Sunday League Cup final at Yaxley next Thursday, March 12.
