Boom time for Holbeach ACF unit

Holbeach detachment of Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force has gone from strength to strength since its move to new premises at the Holbeach Hub.

The new base in Holbeach Youth Centre led to an increase in cadet numbers.

Sergeant Instructor Jonathan Harold is the new detachment commander for Holbeach. He was a member of the regular Army, serving 15 years in the 9th/12th Royal Lancers then The Royal Lancers regiment having obtained the rank of sergeant.
He joined Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force in January 2016 joining as a civilian assistant until March when he reobtained his previous rank of sergeant.

Other instructors at the detachment include Sergeant Instructor Hayley Williams, who joined Holbeach having progressed through adult training. Potential Instructor Alex Walsham joined as a civilian assistant in January and has been progressing through adult training in order to become a qualified Sergeant Instructor within Lincolnshire ACF.

Anyone interested in becoming a cadet or an adult volunteer can go into detachment to have a look at the experiences provided.It parades on Tuesdays (7pm-9pm) at the Holbeach Hub.
