Updated – Body found in search for missing teen.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that they’re not treating the death of a person whose body was found in Cowbit yesterday as suspicious.

The body was found shortly before 10am yesterday morning as part of the search for Lee Smalley.

Police have also confirmed their search has ended for the 19-year-old who had been reported missing after last being seen at 1.30am in the morning on Thursday in the Spalding area.

The body found at Cowbit has now been passed to Lincolnshire Coroners.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said yesterday: “The body of a man was found today near Cowbit, as part of the search for missing man Lee Smalley.

“The body was found shortly before 10am this morning. There has been no formal identification at this stage but Lee’s immediate family are aware.”
