Blackbird flies in to confirm win

Local honours went to Crowland Town in the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League Senior Cup quarter-final.

They emerged 2-0 victors at Moulton Harrox thanks to a 28th-minute strike from Archie Rickards and another from Adam Blackbird with ten minutes to go.
South Lincolnshire Swifts are also celebrating cup progress after seeing off NXT Gen 2-1 in the Junior Cup semi-final.
The Werrington team had two players sent off and were two goals down to Kieron McConnell and Dan Taylor before notching a last-minute consolation.
Victory keeps the Crows on target for a trophy treble. As well as a semi-final clash with Leverington in the Senior Cup next month, Crowland host Lincolnshire Leaguers Immingham Town in the quarter-finals of the Lincolnshire Junior Cup at the end of the month and are also well placed for a title charge in the Premier Division of the league.
Long Sutton Athletic doubled their wins total for the season with a 2-1 triumph over Park Farm Pumas in Division One. Jack Greenacre was their hero with a brace.
The three-point haul moved them to within a point of second-bottom Whittlesey Athletic Development and was their first league win since September, ending a run of seven consecutive defeats.
Warren Hebblethwaite hit a hat-trick in South Holland United’s 6-4 win over CSKA Emneth Reserves in Division Two of the Sunday League.
