Talented potter Mick Johnson was on stellar form in the Spalding and District Billiards League on Monday night.
The Consti B cueman, who plays off an O170 handicap, made fine breaks of 74, 60 and 44 as well as smaller offerings of 34, 30, 24 and an unfinished 24 as he defeated Shane White (O30) 200-92.
However, he was the only Consti player to secure a frame success as Gosberton A picked up a 4-3 victory on the night.
Marcus Pell (O20) settled the contest for the away side, making breaks of 33 and 30 in the process.
Elsewhere, Holbeach B were the big winners of the week as they swept aside Pyramid A 7-0.
Denis Hix (R70), Chris Chamberlain (R70) and Neil Harvey (R50) all picked up frame wins for the hots, making breaks of 29, 24 and 25 respectively in the process.
Lester Gaunt (scr) made a 26 break in vain for Pyramid.
Also victorious were leaders Donington, who saw off Holbeach A 5-2.
Ben Wrigglesworth (R50) impressed with a 37 break for the table-toppers, while Mick Cooper (O190) notched scores of 35 (twice) and 32 as he beat Wrigglesworth 200-168 in frame two.
